Sonnet 6 ~ Don't Fall Victim to Winter's Fury

Sonnet 6 ~ Don't Fall Victim to Winter's Fury

don’t neglect your youth and risk your legacy. don't allow hard times to destroy your dream! love anyway, and... shine on!

Don’t allow winter’s ebb to entangle you in darkness

Or destroy your inner light from shining bright in new day’s dawn

Plant the seeds of life with love’s companion,

or risk demise of thou bloom.

For in neglecting offspring’s desires; love’s early blossom, will surly wilt and perish

Great strength and generous fruit of life sprout

With love’s acceptance and reciprocation.

Nurturing and growth of one in one’s own image, gives ten times great joy.

And joy multiplies tenfold when increased in numbers,

Establishing joy in equality to one’s legacy.

Then, if thou were to breathe last breath, death holds no root.

Your beauty continued and emergent through new origin of offspring.

Selfishness in time of beauty’s ripe harvest is undue; you are so beautiful

Too beautiful to be overtaken by death’s cold chill; leaving you nothing but brittle bones lost among winter’s darkest night; and thine own legacy destroyed of worms come springtime’s light.
