Sonnet 8 ~ Song of Songs to None

Sonnet 8 ~ Song of Songs to None

You are the music of my heart; so why now is the music such sad melody for you?

My happiness resounds beautiful echoes of your soul, without confrontation.

Why do you partake in such circumstance that brings no joy to you freely.

And with such dissension; you listen anyway?

When true beauty resonates, in perfect tune and

Harmony of union, but still bothersome to your ears,

It is only because your heart is closed in discord

You deny synchronization, forbearing your pact, and miss the beat of ancestry’s tradition.

Can’t you see how the piano keys work so beautifully together

Creating such beauty in accordance and stance,

As a husband, wife and child, celebrated one of multiple note

Create such beautiful song; articulating magnificent union and entity of love.

But you in blank verse, and distorted note,

Sing alone; song of songs to none.
